Two Individuals Formally Indicted for Jail Killing of Lostprophets Singer Ian Watkins

A pair of suspects stand accused of murder in the wake of the incarceration fatality of one-time Lostprophets vocalist and adjudicated child sex criminal Ian Watkins.

Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43 have both been charged with murder and are scheduled to appear in Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, as stated by police authorities.

Watkins, 48, was undergoing a 29-year incarceration at HMP Wakefield, alongside six more years under supervision, after confessing to numerous sex crimes among them the effort to sexually assault an infant.

Watkins was taken into custody following a narcotics search warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a large number of computers, mobile phones and storage devices were confiscated.
